Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD to support PS3/PS Vita cross-save

Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD will feature cross-save functionality between the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions of the games.
Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase confirmed the much-requested feature on stage at the Japan Expo in Paris this week, according to RPGsite.
Addressing the crowd, Kitase confirmed that players will be able to seamlessly transfer their save from one platform to another and continue where they left off.
Square Enix confirmed in March a Fantasy X/X-2 release date window of '2013' on PS3 and Vita, shortly before putting out a debut trailer.
The home console versions will be bundled on a single Blu-ray disc, while the portable ones will be sold individually.
Kitase previously said of the updates: "These games are classic fan-favorites, and we hope that new and old Final Fantasy fans can experience the world of Spira and the story of Tidus and Yuna in a brand-new light with these remastered editions."
